After a domain name expires, it undergoes several stages before becoming available to the general public. Cyberlogic Innovations sends five renewal emails to the Registered Name Holder before the expiration date. If the registrant pays the domain renewal invoice before expiration, the domain is automatically renewed. The timeline of events following expiration may vary depending on the top-level domain (TLD).
Our approach to managing expired domain names varies based on the domain name extensions and their renewal settings. Before expiration, we send two reminder emails prompting you to renew your domain names. If your domain names are set to automatically renew, we make attempts to renew the registrations for you 30 days before expiration. However, if you opt for manual renewal and allow your domain names to expire, we notify you again via email on the day of expiration. For expired .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .us, .name, or .mobi domain name registrations, we retain your domain name for approximately 60-70 days before cancellation.
If your domain name is set to automatically renew, we endeavor to charge you 30 days before your domain name registration expires. This automatic renewal process ensures continuity of your domain registration without requiring manual intervention.
For domain names not set to automatically renew, when your domain name registration expires, we follow a specific sequence before canceling it. On the expiration date, we notify you of the impending expiration, providing an opportunity for manual renewal. Subsequently, on the 37th day post-expiration, your domain name remains on hold but becomes subject to a redemption fee. Finally, on the 67th day post-expiration, we cancel your domain name, deleting all associated services.
